Man City must face 155 truth charges despite what Liverpool would have you believe

It means more at Liverpool, winning trophies. We were lucky to win so many under Jurgen Klopp.

But it means more than that, despite what Man City would have you believe. 115 means even more, though we’ll have to wait and see what that means.

We don’t know what that means yet. When we find out what it means, we’ll see what it’s all about.

They may have won the title, but on Sunday it was all about one man – Jurgen Klopp.

I went to the Anfield Hotel before the game to see a friend of mine, but Jesus it was crazy. It was absolutely crazy like that with all the fans. It was really a celebration of what he accomplished for us.

He has been a great ambassador for the club and for the city, not just as a manager but off the pitch for who he is as a human being.

He really stamped his personality, just like the great Bill Shankly did. I remember him so much, he had a massive impact on me growing up and Jurgen Klopp will have had the same on a lot of kids.

I was asked to go to the Titanic party after the game, but I didn’t go. It’s not my scene. I’d rather just have a few nice pints and watch some golf.

But it looks like Jurgen had a great night, partying and rightly so. He deserved it.

Sunday was all about Jurgen, it was a great day. The fans were magnificent, absolutely brilliant. You wouldn’t get that in most other places – maybe Celtic. But Jurgen got what he deserved.

It’s not just Jurgen, he also had his team behind him and it was important to pay tribute to them. Without his team, Jurgen probably wouldn’t have been what he was.

It was a team effort and that was shown by the way they were also honored after the game. They all deserved credit for what they put into the club over the years.

But now it’s a new beginning, so draw a line under it, it’s gone. I loved every second of Jurgen, but now we have to move on.

That’s football. We have to welcome Arne Slot and just hope that the owners have made the right decision, get behind him and see what he can do for us.

Good luck to Thiago and Matip

Thiago, my overriding feeling is one of frustration. A great player, but frustrating. It just didn’t happen for him.

Matip is now one of the best free transfers the club has ever had. In the dressing room he was great, and on the field he did very well.

For a free transfer, it was a great buy for Liverpool. Good luck to both of you!

Don’t play Elliott on the wing

Harvey had a very good 2024. I’m so excited for him. But please, Arne Slot, please don’t play him on the right side! Don’t play it right, please.

He is a midfielder. He has the right of a midfield three, end of story. He must be involved in the game at all times. When he plays there, he doesn’t get involved as much.

He has to connect all the time because he is a great footballer. I hope the new manager realizes this and plays him where he needs to play in midfield.
