Police want to speak to a shopper wearing a beanie hat in connection with a burglary in Birmingham

Police want to speak to a hat-wearing shop customer in connection with a burglary in a Birmingham suburb. On Saturday March 16, the burglary took place at a house in the cul-de-sac, Rickyard Close, in Yardley.

A thief stole personal items, including bank cards, which were later used in a shop. Now West Midlands Police have issued a CCTV image of the man officers would like to speak to in connection with the reported offence.




The man police would like to speak to is white, clean-shaven and pictured wearing a black hat and blue coat. He is pictured with a yellow orange polo shirt underneath.

Launching the CCTV appeal, a spokesman for the force said: “Do you know who this is? We would like to speak to him after a house in Rickyard Close, Birmingham was broken into on March 16.

“Personal items were stolen, including bank cards, which were later used.
