Two of Leeds United’s celebrity investors, Larry Nance Jr and Will Ferrell, are expected to be in attendance at Wembley on Sunday, while Southampton fan and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak could also be in attendance.

Leeds’ biggest game of the season is just days away as they take on Southampton in the Championship play-off final.

Leeds are yet to beat the Saints this season with two defeats to Russell Martin’s side, but will be looking to break that mark at Wembley to secure a place in the Premier League.

Larry Nance Jr and Will Ferrell expected to watch Leeds at Wembley

After being picked up by the 49ers last summer, the Whites have become an attractive prospect for star investors, especially from a sports standpoint, and a few could be in attendance Sunday.

New Orleans Pelicans star Larry Nance Jr has been talking about his new love for the club on social media since becoming an investor and posted this when Leeds beat Norwich in the semi-final:

Nance Jr was already at Elland Road this season for the West Brom draw in August, buying pints for fans in the Peacock pub.

Alongside him, Nance Jr is said to be joined by the newest name in the 49ers’ investment group, Hollywood icon Will Ferrell – according to talkSPORT.

They reported that the 56-year-old’s first public appearance as a Leeds man would be at Wembley if the Whites make it, which is now confirmed.

Rishi Sunak could also be in Southampton colors for the clash at Wembley, alongside Matt Le Tissier

As pictured above, Prime Minister and Conservative Party leader Rishi Sunak was in attendance at Southampton’s 3-1 win over West Brom on Friday.

He wasn’t the only notable Southampton fan in attendance that night, as conspiracy theorist-turned-club legend Matt Le Tissier was also watching in close proximity to Sunak, both of whom are expected at Wembley on Sunday:

The celebrity presence is strong for both Leeds and Southampton this week

Both clubs will be well supported at Wembley, but you’d imagine the neutral vote would favor Leeds more depending on who supports each team here.

It will be great to see both sides sell out their allowances and it will be bouncing around Wembley for 90 minutes.

Let’s hope we’re on the right side and Ferrell’s first experience in Leeds colors is a happy one – if not, he’s living life as a Leeds fan like everyone else has been for years.
