£15 ‘Glorious’ tanning oil with 12,000 reviews gives ‘deep natural tan’

Amazon shoppers are praising an “amazing” tanning oil they say gave them the “best, effortless tan”. The spray is said to give a “deep natural tan”.

The online retailer stocks BYROKKO Shine Brown Premium XXL Tan Accelerator Oil, which can be used when tanning in the sun or on sunbeds. The spray is currently on sale for £15.08, down from £15.70.

This product is the oil version of the brand’s best-selling Shine Brown tanning cream. It promises to “result in the darkest possible results in the shortest amount of time.”

The spray is lightweight, non-greasy, fast-absorbing and promises to be “super effective” on sunbeds or in the sun.
Although it works quickly, Shine Brown Tanning Oil is said to hydrate your skin, allowing it to “stay smooth and nourished” throughout and after the tanning process.

The Shine Brown️ formula contains coconut oil (nourishes and protects your skin), walnut oil (gives you that rich, golden glow) and hazelnut oil (protects your skin from UV rays). It also has a fresh orange scent.

The oil has an overall rating of 4.3 stars with over 1,200 positive reviews. Among them, one person said: “I used it for the first time and it’s amazing. My friend is convinced he has a fake tan oil or something because I’ve gotten so tan I’m going to buy more, my skin feels great, lovely and soft. and after the shower…I love the smell.”

A second wrote: “Very impressive how much this product lifts your tan after the first use. I’ve used many different products before, but this is definitely the first one that I’ve seen have an instant effect. Easy to apply, smells good and looks like a deep natural tan.”

A third buyer added: “Purchased this after reading the great reviews, a bit skeptical but happy to try it. This product is amazing and gave me the best tan I have ever had.

“Word of warning though, you need to apply a lot more of your normal sunscreen when using this. I thought I applied more than usual, but I burned myself. This turned into a glorious tan, but I think more. High factor sunscreen would have mitigated this product, but be sensitive with it for sure.

However, not all buyers were so impressed. One person said: “After reading such good reviews.. if true I am very disappointed with this product. Smells great, works well, but didn’t produce any improvement effect on the lounger. I would not buy again.”

Another added: “I had such high expectations for this product after reading the reviews, it was awful, it was messy, oily, greasy and didn’t tan me at all, for the price it wasn’t worth it, I got a much better tan . with other cheaper products I would not buy again”.

BYROKKO also has the Shine Brown Sunbed Tan Accelerator which is available for £15.83 on Amazon. Elsewhere, Coco & Eve has the Tan Boost Anti-Aging Body Oil SPF30 at £28, while LookFantastic has the Gatineau Tan Accelerator Lotion at £55. If you’re looking for something cheaper, Superdrug has Malibu Quick Tan Butter with Beta Carotene for £5.99.
