Charlestown pub hosting a beer garden shack day

A Cornish pub is holding a ditch day at the seaside this weekend, with garden games and face painting for the little ones. The family friendly event will be held at The Rashleigh Arms in Charlestown.

Owned by St Austell Brewery, the town’s oldest pub will host a day of music with five different bands performing traditional sea songs. It is the first event of its kind for the pub which is set just minutes from the harbour.

A fitting venue, Rashleigh Arms managing director Ryan Murphy said: We’ve been wanting to hold a sea shack event for some time – we’re perfectly positioned in Charlestown, with the harbor and the iconic Tall Ships a stone’s throw away. throw.”
