AXA Melwood Legends Tours Training Centre

For a limited time on weekends in June, go exclusively behind the scenes at AXA Melwood Training Centre, home of Liverpool FC Women, with Phil Thompson, John Aldridge, Ian Callaghan or Steve McMahon as your guide.

Find out how the name ‘Melwood’ came about and visit the dressing room, boot, pitch viewing areas, sports facilities and have your picture taken in the original press room.

Fans will also hear about how Bill Shankly put the players through their paces back in the day and how it compares to Matt Beard’s modern state-of-the-art training methods for LFC Women.

Go onto the pitch and see where LFC Women prepare for matches and where former Red Men heroes trained before them, visit the manager’s office and the team dining room next to the social areas.

Includes return coach travel from Anfield to Melwood, along with entry to The Liverpool FC Story and souvenir guide.

Half the fun – meet Mighty Red!

Dates: Tuesday 28 May – Sunday 2 June

There will be half-term activities for the whole family to get involved in as part of the LFC Stadium Tour, including football skills testing, face painting and a scavenger hunt.

Fans will also get the chance to meet the club’s official mascot and number 1 fan, Mighty Red, who will be making special appearances on Wednesday 29 May and Saturday 1 June.
