The 2024 start date for ITV’s Love Island has been announced – and it’s coming soon

ITV has officially confirmed the start date for the 2024 series of Love Island. The TV series is an annual highlight for millions of viewers up and down the country as summer arrives in the UK.

Better yet, fans won’t have too long to wait as the show returns in just a few weeks. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the official Love Island account wrote: “Coming hot! Love Island is back Monday, June 3.”

The 2024 edition of Love Island will start at 9pm and will be available to watch on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX. IT will once again see a fresh new batch of love-seeking singles heading to the iconic villa in the hope of finding ‘the one’ – and winning a huge cash prize.

This year, the luxury villa will be located in Mallorca. Although the line-up has yet to be announced, rumors have already been circulating.

Maya Jama will return to her hosting duties as host of the dating show. She took over from Laura Whitmore in 2022.

The news was music to the ears of many fans, who were quick to leave their thoughts in the comments section. BruceHebrew replied: “I’m so ready, I can’t wait.”

Entertain85512 stated, “We’re waiting.” Iamb_xx stated: “This summer is going to be fun.”

Lthapie admitted: “I don’t know how or why love island does it just for me. Pure giddiness.” Bmacharia34 joked: “Finally a distraction from the stress Chelsea football club gives me.”
