Trial date set for man accused of killing wife

A man accused of killing his wife while she was walking her baby in a pram will go on trial later this year.

Habibur Masum, 25, from Burnley, is accused of murdering Kulsuma Aktar, 27, who died after being stabbed on Westgate, Bradford, on Saturday.

Mr Masum was arrested in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, earlier this week after a three-day manhunt.

He appeared earlier at Bradford Crown Court via video link, where a provisional trial was set for November 18.
