Body of missing Ontario man found inside tractor trailer in Port aux Basques

RCMP confirm the remains of a 51-year-old man reported missing in Ontario have been found inside a tractor trailer that was driven back to Newfoundland from Ontario.

Brian Lush was reported missing after parking his tractor trailer at a lorry station near Cornwall. The moving truck was eventually released by the OPP and driven back to Newfoundland.

Lush’s body was found in the tractor trailer by RCMP in Port aux Basques.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is now involved to determine the cause of death.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and initial evidence suggests foul play is not believed to be involved.
