Leeds United have sold their Wembley allocation as the club confirms plans for additional tickets

Leeds United’s allocation of over 36,000 tickets for Sunday’s EFL Championship play-off at Wembley at Wembley has been completely sold out. The Whites faithful snapped up their tickets in just days, with the club confirming that their entire allowance has now been sold.

Both clubs have received sizeable ticket allocations for the 90,000-seater stadium, which is again expected to be full for Sunday’s big game. Ticketless fans now face an anxious wait to see if both clubs are still allocated tickets. Currently, approximately 20,000 tickets are reserved for various concerns – some of which may become available. Leeds are always heavily supported both home and away, with the Wembley allocation just short of Elland Road’s capacity of 37,890.

A message on social media from Leeds United today read: “36,462 SOLD OUT! Thank you for your amazing support! We can’t wait to see you at Wembley! We will continue to work with Wembley Stadium if other allocations become available.”

Those lucky enough to have tickets will now be able to plan their trips south for Sunday’s 3pm kick-off in what they hope will be their last Championship game for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, Southampton have today released a further 1,233 extra tickets given to the club following the exhaustion of their initial allocation. The Saints had sold the allotment of 35,667 given by Monday.
