Nine pet ducks have been stolen from County Durham’s allotment

Police are appealing for witnesses following the suspected theft of nine ducks believed to have been taken from an overnight allotment.

Officers from Durham Constabulary are investigating reports that nine ducks, which were kept as family pets, were taken from an allotment in Langley Park, County Durham, overnight on Wednesday, May 15.

The temporary fence is believed to have been damaged to gain access to the site off the Lanchester Valley Walk.

The ducks are described as having different colors, but three of them are pure white.

Today Durham Constabulary issued a public appeal for information. Anyone with any information is asked to call [email protected] quoting incident reference 303 of May 16.
