A car crashed into the wall of a dental practice in Palmers Green last night – leaving the building “badly damaged”.

The white Audi crashed into the N13 dental clinic on the corner of Powys Lane and North Circular, causing structural damage as the vehicle completely smashed one of the windows and even destroyed part of a brick wall.

The site remains cordoned off by police, although a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said no arrests had been made. The driver is understood to have suffered minor injuries. As the incident happened late at night, there was no one in the dental office at the time of the collision.

At the moment it is not clear when the dental office will be able to reopen.

Dr. Pegah Ziahosseini, senior dentist at N13 Dental Clinic, said: “Last night, a white Audi crashed into the wall of our office. We had to drive to practice at midnight to assess the damage. Unfortunately, we have severe damage to property and practice items, which means we cannot continue working.

“(An) accident on the corner of Powys Lane and Bowes Road is not an uncommon scene. Unfortunately, there is no working camera in the area, no (lower) speed limit and the intersection has been made more dangerous by reckless driving.

“We were told that the police should not leave the premises for our safety until a structural engineer goes to the premises.”
