A horrifying video shows a teenager being chased and attacked by a gang

A teenager was rushed by a machete-wielding gang in front of screaming crowds after a meeting in Hyde Park turned violent on Tuesday night.

Mobile phone footage from 9pm shows the victim being chased by a group of masked men armed with knives and foot-long zombie poles.

As he desperately tries to escape, he slips on the grass and is tackled by a man in a gray hoodie, before being kicked, stabbed in the chest and hit with poles in a brutal attack that lasted less than 20 of seconds.

A woman filming the attack screams and swears: “He was stabbed! There’s a knife, there’s a knife! Oh my god, oh my god.”

Using slang for a stabbing, a male voice in the crowd says, “Bored him! Damn, he’s bored!”

Another clip shows the man receiving a final blow to the chest as he lies motionless face up in the grassy area that had been filled minutes earlier.

Police said the victim was expected to survive the encounter as they appealed for the public’s help in trying to identify the attackers.

A Met spokesman said: “He was taken to hospital where his injuries have been assessed as life-threatening.

“An investigation is underway.

“At this stage there have been no arrests.

“There were a number of people in the park at the time of the incident and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.”

The daylight attack came just over an hour after another man, 23, found police officers after he was stabbed in the face in Hither Green Lane, south London.

He was taken to the hospital where he is fighting for his life.

Ten youths have been arrested after an 18-year-old was stabbed on a tennis court in Montrose Park, Barnet, on Bank Holiday Monday.

Florist Tony Eastlake, 55, was stabbed in Islington, north London, on Saturday.

And on Sunday, police dog Kaiser was stabbed up to five times in the top of the head and once under the eye in Orpington.
