Wanted Kirklees man seen on CCTV holding Asda shopping bag

A wanted Yorkshire man has been seen on CCTV clutching an Asda shopping bag.

Kirklees man Martin Sales, 41, is wanted for aggravated assault. West Yorkshire Police released an image which appears to show Sales on Bewell Street, Hereford, at 10.25am on Tuesday morning (May 21).

Detective Inspector Catherine Shackleton said: “Sale is wanted for a serious crime and it is important that he is located as soon as possible so that we can continue to investigate this matter.

“We had previously had concerns about his welfare given the length of time he had not been seen, but these have now been satisfied by the latest information we have on him.

“We don’t think he poses a wider risk to the public, but we would ask people not to approach him and contact us immediately if they see him.”

Sales is described as six feet tall and of thin build. Anyone with information that could help trace him is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police online or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 13240194990.
