Wakefield Road, St John closed today 23 May

Motorists are advised that Wakefield Road in St John will be closed between 10am and 1pm. today, Thursday, May 23. This is to allow a crew from the Baie Depot of the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) ​​to prepare the road for paving.

During this time motorists traveling into St John are asked to detour onto Tappy Pond Road, Natty Browne Hill or at Four Roads.

Motorists departing from St John are advised to use the Claybury/Sweet Vale route.

Pedestrian access will be permitted where possible.

MTW thanked drivers for their patience and understanding.
