Urgent appeal to find Birmingham school missing for almost a week

An appeal has been launched to find a Birmingham schoolgirl who has been missing for almost seven days. Raya is from Birmingham and was spotted at Birmingham New Street Station last Saturday (May 18).

The 15-year-old is believed to have traveled to Nottingham to go shopping. He is also known to have links to Leicestershire and Walthamstow, Islington and Camden in north London.




Raya is black, approximately 5ft 3in tall, has long black hair and was last seen wearing a black knee-length dress and white trainers. She also wore a necklace.

West Midlands Police is appealing for the public’s help to find her and ensure she is safe. Launching the appeal, a spokesman for the force said: “Have you seen Raya? 15-year-old girl from #Birmingham is missing and we need your help to find her.

“She is approximately 5ft 3in and was last seen wearing a black knee-length dress and white trainers. Raya also has links to the Nottingham, Leicestershire and Walthamstow, Camden and Islington areas of London. If you see her, call 999 immediately with PID 402425.
