(Video) Steven Mcinerney previews Manchester City’s huge Premier League clash with Wolves

Kompany’s esteemed host Steven Mcinerney previews today’s match between Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the video below.

It’s another must-win game for Pep Guardiola’s side as they look to continue their quest for a fourth straight Premier League title. The champions need 4 more wins to make history this season, but Wolves are likely to provide a stern test at the Etihad later today.

Gary O’Neil’s side sit 11th in the Premier League ahead of this weekend’s games. They had a good season under O’Neil and probably won’t be back for the champs today. Wolves beat Manchester City 2-1 at Molineux earlier this season, with Pedro Neto in particular causing City all sorts of problems throughout the game. Gary O’Neil informed the media during the pregame press conference that Neto has returned to training after a long injury layoff. If he starts, the world champions will have to guard against the threat that the Portugal international poses. But the Wolves are not a one-man team. With the likes of Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan in their ranks, they will be determined to make it to Pep Guardiola’s side.

For Manchester City, they will go into today’s clash with a fully fit squad. With Ederson, Ruben Dias and Phil Foden back in training, Pep Guardiola will have a full squad to choose from. Given what’s at stake at this point in the season, it’s a bonus that the treble winners are at their best. Guardiola will be hoping that whoever is selected can do the job to get the win that will hold City’s title destiny in their hands.
