Burglars rob woman’s home and take Batman print, bicycle wall clock, glass boat and 80 bottles of perfume

A vulnerable woman has been the victim of a major burglary in Bristol. The Easton woman’s flat was broken into and ransacked between 10am and 8.30pm on Monday, May 20, with a number of highly distinctive items stolen.

Items include a metal wall clock in the shape of a bicycle, a Batman and Robin print, a glass boat that measures approximately 12 inches long. A metal Jack Daniel’s sign was also taken, along with 80 perfume bottles and wooden jewelery boxes.




The thieves also stole medicine, canned goods and laundry products from the property. A large red backpack was also taken and officers believe it was used to remove the items.

The victim was given security advice by officers following the theft. Police are now appealing for anyone who sees the items to come forward.

In a statement released today, Avon and Somerset Police said: “If you have seen any of these items offered for sale under suspicious circumstances or have any other information that could assist the investigation, we would like to hear from you.”
