Sheffield Wednesday have completed a deal for Danny Rohl

More talks took place between the Sheffield Wednesday owner and Rohl in London on Wednesday.

The Wednesday manager managed to keep the club in the Championship against all odds, but wanted assurances on several factors before committing his future to the club.

Negotiations have progressed well towards a new deal as Rohl looks for the club to match his ambition.

And it has been claimed that a deal is now close to being agreed between the German and Championship side.

Talks have reached their final stages as Sheffield Wednesday move closer to keeping hold of their manager next season.

Sheffield Wednesday were aware that Rohl had attracted interest from clubs in England and abroad.

However, it now looks likely that Rohl will be in the home dugout at Hillsborough at the start of next season.
