Grace Marion Andress (née Wilson) (formerly of Riverdale Terrace)
Passed away at St Joseph’s Continuing Care Center in Cornwall on Monday, May 6, 2024, aged 96. Dear mother of Karen Groves (Roger), Brian (Susan), Laurie Rousseau. Beloved grandmother of Erin (Scott), Ryan (Melissa), Brendan (Ashley), Jenny (Blaine), Matt (Ashley), Emily, Billy (Dayna), Kris (Shawna) and Michael (Marissa). Great grandmother of 14. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Edna Wilson and her brothers Cecil, Bruce and her sister Irene. Grace was born on September 3, 1928 in Easton’s Corners, Ontario. She was a registered nurse at Cornwall Hospital Class of 1950, working until her retirement in 1988. The family would like to thank the staff at St Joseph’s Continuing Care Center for the amazing and loving care she received in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. Grace’s family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street (613-938-3888) Tuesday, May 14th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday, May 15th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM , followed by a memorial service celebrating Grace’s life in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Grace will be buried at St. Lawrence Valley at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center or the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca
