Hotel group appoints new MD

South West hotel group Philema Hospitality has announced the promotion of Laura Cameron to MD after more than ten years with the company.

Cameron joined the business in 2010, starting on reception and rising through the ranks to partner and COO in 2016.

Philema Hospitality, which was featured in The Caterer’s Top 30 Places to Work in Hospitality, owns a portfolio of leisure properties including Boringdon Hall Hotel, Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa and The Esplanade Hotel.

Cameron commented: “It has been a privilege to play the role over the past few years and a dream come true to be promoted to Managing Director. I couldn’t be more grateful to my team who without; it wouldn’t be possible and it’s an honor to be able to lead them forward.”
