The BBC presenter and Love Island star among the favorites for Strictly Come Dancing 2024

Strictly Come Dancing will be back on our screens in a few months and rumors are already flying about which celebrities could be joining the line-up. Recent speculation has suggested that a member of the Royal Family has expressed an interest in taking part in the show.

Professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova said Princess Anne, who is said to be a huge fan of the BBC show, told her she would like to compete in the show. There have been several whispers of famous faces set to attend this year, as well as rumors of a professional dancer potentially leaving.




Gambling.com entertainment expert James Leyfield has revealed the latest betting odds and analysis on which celebrities and professional dancers could appear in the 2024 season. Love Island runner-up Tommy Fury is the odds-on favorite to defend.

Molly-Mae’s boxer fiance is 4/6 favorite to swap the boxing ring for the ballroom this year and a source recently told The Sun on Sunday that Strictly bosses were “trying everything to get Tommy”.

Other sports stars believed to be in the running for the famous dance competition include the darts legend Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, who is 11/8, and former England Lioness Jill Scott at 3/1. BBC documentary presenter Louis Theroux is also tipped to play at 2/1, as is Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards at 11/2.

Former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has made the list at 6/1 and Harry Clark, who won series two of the BBC’s Traitors, is 3/1 to feature in the line-up, according to the bookmakers, while fellow contestant Paul Gorton is 7/2.

The Nitro Gladiators star is 9/2 to take part in the 22nd series of Strictly. Pop Idol winner Will Young is second favorite to appear as Princess Anne is (6/1).
