Leeds United have received a major transfer boost for Archie Gray in the build-up to their play-off final clash with Southampton.

All of Leeds’ work this season comes down to this Sunday when they travel to Wembley to face Southampton in the play-off final.

One of the relegated sides will return to the top flight and for Leeds, it would stop them from worrying about major sales in the summer window.

Archie Gray to stay put no matter what happens at Leeds this summer

Leeds teenage sensation Archie Gray will be hoping his boyhood club are playing in the top flight next season, but even with the transfer attention he is receiving, he is likely to stay put.

That’s according to MOT Leeds News, who share that regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s clash at Wembley against Saints, Gray will not be leaving the club.

Interest has been rife in the 18-year-old for some time, even before his senior debut in August, and Leeds moved swiftly in January to tie him down on a long-term deal until 2028.

Playoff Final: Leeds United v Southampton predictions

It was revealed by The Athletic this week that Gray turned down the chance to join both the Liverpool and Manchester City academies previously, opting to put pen to paper on a deal at Leeds on terms cut short of what they were offering these top tier clubs. .

Gray isn’t going anywhere anytime soon unless a huge offer comes his way

It would take a truly absurd amount of money for Leeds to consider letting Gray leave the club, but the midfield position is key.

He likes it here and there’s no chance of him forcing an exit, so the power is in Leeds’ hands here.

If it were to go, we’re talking about a simply amazing amount of money, and that’s only if we don’t win the playoff final on Sunday.
