Young Coventry man named and charged with sexual assault

A young man from Coventry has been named and charged with two counts of sexual assault. Amritpal Singh of Arnold Avenue was charged with two counts of sexual assault by touching.

The 20-year-old allegedly sexually touched women on separate occasions in March this year. Singh appeared before Coventry magistrates yesterday (May 23).

West Midlands Police say he has been remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing. It will take place at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 31.
