The new range of sun protection boots perfect for ‘summer sports’

Boots hopes shoppers will rush to stores to get their hands on the new Soltan range, which not only protects against SPF 50+ but is great for those who live a more active lifestyle even in hot weather.

Taking to their Instagram page, Boots posted a video showcasing the new Soltan range which consists of four items, a lipstick, a lotion, a mini spray and a body stick. The caption of the post reads: “Introducing the new Soltan Active range. With SPF 50 and UVA 5* protection, these are your new sports essentials.”

In the comments section, buyers seemed to love the look and sound of the product, with one even going so far as to say they “couldn’t wait to try it”. They said: “I’ve been looking for a sunblock for years, it’s the only thing my sons will wear on their face. I can’t wait to try this one.”

On the Boots website, all four products are available for shoppers to get their hands on. The product listing for all products states: “The product has the highest UVA star rating. UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin, causing long-term skin damage and premature aging. The UVA star rating system shows how much protection a product has, with five stars being the highest level.”

For all four products, users are encouraged to apply 15 minutes before sun exposure, which will give them around 8 hours of protection, unless they spend time in the water, which will require reapplying after 3 hours.

There is only one review left for the new products so far, but the one buyer who left a review loved the product, calling it “compact and convenient.” They wrote: “Perfect for when you’re on the go and need to apply a little sun protection to more sensitive areas. I have eczema on one arm and my ears really catch the sun. A quick run of this does the trick and protects me for most of the day. A great thing about this item is that it fits in your pocket and your hands don’t get greasy when applying! I would definitely recommend it.”
