Club Richelieu invests in local youth

Club Richelieu de Cornwall, a leader of the Francophone community for over 75 years, has once again pledged its commitment to local youth as part of a recent strategic planning session.

Members unanimously agreed to support the mission of creating a positive impact on the lives and futures of children in our community, especially those struggling with food insecurity, poverty, neglect, abuse and all forms of violence.

“Our children are our most precious resource and deserve our trust, dedication and generosity – that’s why we strive to invest in their potential, in their education and in their dreams,” explained Dr. Michel Dubuc, President of the Club.

According to Raymond Houde, vice president of the club, “the club promotes our linguistic heritage and focuses on partnerships with local agencies that are dedicated to the health, well-being and success of children and teenagers in Cornwall and the area.”
