Coventry has a wide range of restaurants offering several cuisines for diners to try. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic British pub meal, elegant Italian or some Indian spice, the city has plenty to offer.

Coventry’s top restaurants have been revealed in a new study. The Restaurant Report created by Online Marketing Agency and MG Timber looked at the best places to eat in the UK in the most populated areas.



Alongside Tripadvisor data, the report lists the top rated restaurants in Coventry. This has been compiled from the top rated based on what customers have said in their reviews. Below are the top rated restaurants, along with their location and the cuisine they offer.

Top 10 restaurants in Coventry, according to Tripadvisor:

Turtle Bay was ranked the best rated restaurant in Coventry. The restaurant has a 5-star rating on Tripadvisor, with other ratings including food (5/5), service (5/5), value (4.5/5) and atmosphere (5/5). Out of 2,170 reviews, 2,010 of them were rated “excellent”.

Its popular Caribbean-inspired dishes are Kingston Fried Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Seafood Soul Bowl, Curry Chickpea Callaloo and Curry Goat. They are also well-known for their 2-4-1 happy hours before 6.30pm and after 9pm, with popular cocktails such as the Caribbean Candy Sour, Reggae Rum Punch and Coconut Espresso Martini.

Emma R says Turtle Bay offers “the best bottomless brunch in Coventry”: “The bottomless brunch was incredible today, the food was amazing and tasty, the atmosphere was so chilled and relaxed, making the experience top notch, Charity and Narem they provided the best services. always keeps us pumped up with delicious cocktails.”

Kira D said: “Delicious brunch and great food. The espresso martini was the best and the burgers were amazing. You really do get your money’s worth and Molly was lovely and very attentive.”


Another diner added: “My friend had the jerk chicken breast and cheese fries and loved them. We had the mixed sharing platter as a main (crispy calamari, jerk wings, jerk chicken buns and cheese fries) This was a perfect recommendation. from Kaela and it was a really nice experience and will be back soon.”
