CCTV issued after woman’s wallet snatched in Coventry ‘distracting end’

Police have released a CCTV image of a man as part of an investigation into a burglary in Coventry. It happened on Broadway in Earlsdon.

A woman was approached at her home in Broadway and asked if she would like gutter work done to her home, West Midlands Police said. When she went back inside, the man grabbed her wallet and drove off in a white van, believed to be a Ford Transit.



It happened on Tuesday, March 5, at 10.30 am. Anyone who recognizes the man pictured has been asked to contact Coventry Police.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Do you recognize this man? We are looking to speak to him after a burglary in Coventry. If you recognize this man please contact us on 101 or Live Chat quoting crime number 20/293602/24.”
