A30 live updates as crash causes heavy traffic on key Cornwall route

The A30 in Cornwall is partially blocked this morning, Saturday 25 May, following a crash involving two vehicles. Traffic is heavy with two miles of queues.

At 9.30am this morning, police were called to the A30 near Plusha following reports of a collision between two vehicles. No injuries were reported, but the road is partially blocked westbound due to vehicle recovery.




A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at 9.30am to a collision between two vehicles. No injuries were reported. One lane is closed while a vehicle is recovered. It should be recovered within an hour.”


There is currently heavy traffic in the area between Two Bridges and Bodmin Moor Services. Lines are reported to stretch back two miles.

Inrix reports: “The A30 westbound was partially blocked, with traffic backed up for two miles due to the accident at Two Bridges on the B3257 (Bodmin Moor Services). Travel time is approximately 10 minutes.”

There are now three miles of queued traffic on the A30 near Plusha. The road remains blocked westbound.
