The hot weather has been mapped out as the Met Office predicts just how hot it will get in Yorkshire

Temperatures will rise dramatically in Yorkshire for the rest of the week.

Pack your sunscreen and shades as the warm weather will continue to rise with ‘long spells of sunshine’. The county will enjoy happy days with temperatures above 20C starting today, Wednesday, May 8.




Bradford is set to be 19C on Wednesday, 19C on Thursday, 21C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 21C on Sunday. Huddersfield will see 19C on Wednesday, 20C on Thursday, 21C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 22C on Sunday.

Leeds will reach 20C on Wednesday, 20C on Thursday, 21C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 22C on Sunday. Sheffield will be 20C on Wednesday, 21C on Thursday, 21C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 21C on Sunday.

And York will be 19C on Wednesday, 20C on Thursday, 21C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 22C on Sunday.

The Met Office said for today it expected: “Any early mist, fog and low cloud will burn back towards the coast, leaving a fine and dry day with long spells of sunshine and mostly light winds. Heat inside. Maximum temperature 21°C”.

Regarding the forecast for Thursday to Saturday, the forecaster added: “A good deal of fine and dry weather with variable cloud and sunny spells throughout. Chance of scattered showers on Saturday. A few patches of fog and mist each morning. Warm”.
