Footage shows the moment Manchester United fans went wild after their side beat rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final this afternoon.

Against the odds, the Reds stepped up to secure a 2-1 win against the Premier League champions with two first-half goals at Wembley. Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring before teenager Kobbie Mainoo made it two – a score that not even a second-half goal from Jeremy Doku could counter.

After a turbulent season, fans were ecstatic as United denied City the double as well as booking their place in the Europa League next season.

At FC United, where hundreds of Manchester United fans gathered to watch the match on a big screen, fans flooded the pitch in celebration after seeing the Reds win their thirteenth FA Cup title.

And while it has a reputation as a blue pub, some fans at The Waldorf showed a different allegiance this afternoon at the final whistle.

Manchester may have been blue last week after Manchester City secured their fourth consecutive Premier League title, but tonight it will be those in red celebrating into the early hours.
