West Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal following sexual assault in Bradford

Police have launched an appeal for information and witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bradford.

Officers received reports of an incident which took place just after 5pm after a male suspect approached the victim in a McDonalds on Ingleby Road on Thursday evening (May 23).

While the victim was trying to enter a toilet cubicle in the women’s toilets, the man entered the room and assaulted her.

Detectives have already begun supporting the victim as investigators open initial inquiries into the incident.

Now officers from the Bradford District Safeguarding Unit have appealed for anyone who has seen the man or has any information to get in touch as soon as possible.

Police have also released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident and have asked anyone who recognizes the man to contact officers.
