Plane crashes in Lincolnshire as emergency services rush to the scene | Birmingham Live

Sky News reports that a plane has made an unexpected landing in a field in Lincolnshire, according to authorities. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Coningsby after being called to the unfortunate incident just before 1.20pm.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said it appeared to be a “single-occupant aircraft” and there was no indication that anyone else was involved. Police set up roadblocks at Dogdyke Road and Sandy Bank.

Car owners were advised to avoid the area and take different routes for their journey.
