CBBC’s Hacker T Dog celebrates 15 years on screen

CBBC star Hacker T Dog has been celebrating the nation’s pastime for 15 years – in his own inimitable way.

Arguably Wigan’s most famous export since Sir Ian McKellen, he continues to amuse viewers with his crazy antics and sometimes outrageous observations.

However, speaking to Emmanuelle Lhoni from BBC North West tonighthe revealed how he almost turned down the role due to the commute to London, but changed his mind after a chat with former titular Edd the Duck.

His subsequent adventures saw him interviewing sports and entertainment stars, failing to marry his one-and-done love and former Wimbledon host. Sue Barkerand even being presented to Queen Elizabeth II.
