Two 17-year-olds have been charged with the murder of another teenager in Leicester.

Codie Bambrick, 18, was found with stab wounds in Glazebrook Road, New Parks, on Wednesday, May 22.

Codie was treated by emergency services but was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The men, who cannot be identified due to their ages, were also charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit violent disorder.

They are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 25.

A third 17-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to another person and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He will also appear before the magistrates.

A 38-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man who were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with the incident have been released on bail.

A 52-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the incident and was later released under investigation.
