Britain’s Got Talent fans ask the same question as the pair receive a golden beep after public demand

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were a little confused on Saturday night as the latest golden buzzer was awarded to a pair of skaters.

Duo Stardust, a married couple from Ukraine, was inspired to do the show by a similar act from the past. Skaters Billy and Emily auditioned in 2015, and years later, Duo Stardust hopes to be just as successful.

The pair put on an incredible performance for judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden. From a series of moves and lifts on a platform, the couple showed off their skills and at one point were suspended from the ground.

Afterwards, the pyrotechnics took the show to a higher level, and the judges gave them a standing ovation. Amanda could barely watch as the couple stretched themselves quite high, with very little support to keep them steady.

As the audition ended, the judges gave them a standing ovation and the crowd cheered. Audience members loved it so much that they started chanting for the judges to give them a golden bell.

As has been shown throughout the series, the referees have already rung one bell each before bending the rules and pressing it a few more times. But it looks like there’s more to come as Simon leapt up and rang the bell, giving the screaming crowd what they wanted.
