Northern Ireland striker Josh Magennis admits he’s not sure what the future might hold

Northern Ireland striker Josh Magennis has revealed he has not considered retiring from club or international football, insisting that with his love for the game, “as long as I’m dreaming, I’m not ready to wake up yet”.

Magennis turns 34 in August 2024 and is without a club after being released by Wigan Athletic but, after making 500 career appearances and 100 goals in 2023/24, the Euro 2016 Lyon king he feels he still has a lot to offer.
