Shoppers can get 20% off personalized Toblerone bars this Father’s Day with a little-known code

Father’s Day is just three weeks away and Toblerone just launched a sale on their website to give shoppers a 20% discount. The limited time offer is the ultimate opportunity to stock up on your beloved Swiss milk chocolate or choose a personalized gift for a loved one.

The popular chocolate brand has slashed the price of its iconic triangular prism shaped bars, including one that weighs 750 g. But you’ll have to enter a little-known code at checkout.

Shoppers who spend over £20 online can save 20 per cent when they enter the cover code GIFT2DAD at home And if you ask us, that’s a pretty delicious deal.

Included in the promotion is the custom large Toblerone chocolate bar. Weighing in at 750g, customers have the option to select from five different wraps and can even put a name and personalized message on the bar, although you are limited to 10 characters for the name.

Normally retailing at £26.99, shoppers can save 20% off this price with the code, bringing it down to £21.60. The chunky bar is the only product priced over £20 on offer – although you’re free to mix and match gifts to take advantage of the discount.

Custom Large Toblerone Chocolate Bar

Toblerone’s largest customizable bar to date, this 750g bar can be personalized with a name and message. And for a limited time, Reach PLC readers will be able to get 20% off when they spend over £20 with the code GIFT2DAD.

For example, the Custom mini bars cost £11.99, so you can get two for £23.98 and use the code to make them £19.18. You could then gift one for Father’s Day and put the other away for Christmas, when you’ll inevitably end up buying another bar anyway.

Founded in 1908 by Theodor Tobler, Toblerone’s triangular shape is said to have been inspired by its mountainous homeland, specifically the Matterhorn. Eagle-eyed fans will notice that the original packaging features a bear climbing the side of a mountain.

The chocolate is named after the founder’s last name (Tobler) and the Italian word Torrone, which is a honey and almond nougat that appears in the bar. Fast forward more than a century and it’s now available in a variety of flavors including milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate, crunchy almond, fruit and nut, and orange zest.

Except Toblerone website it is not the only place where you can get a bar of the popular chocolate. Amazon is currently running an offer where you can get not one but two of the 750g bars for £22working out to £11 each – although they are not customised.

In the meantime, you could get one Custom 4.5kg Giant Toblerone via the online giant, although it would set you back £89.95. But if Toblerone isn’t your chocolate of choice, there are plenty of other deals online.

For a limited time, shoppers can pick up a Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Night in Chocolate Hamper for just £13.63. Customers can save 7% as the box of chocolates normally costs almost £15. Or a box of chocolates from Hotel Chocolat is an excellent gift. Everything Luxe costs £39.95 and contains 44 of the brand’s most iconic chocolates to share or treat yourself to, one at a time. A smaller version, The Everything Collection, is available from John Lewis for £29.50.
