The woman with the longest nails hasn’t cut them since 1997 – and everyone’s asking the same thing

A woman from the USA has become a record holder with her extraordinary nails.

Diana Armstrong, from Minnesota, hasn’t used clippers since 1997. That means her fingernails, if put together, would stretch 13 meters. This earned her the Guinness World Record for Longest Female Nails in 2022.

Diana’s nails have grown so long that they even touch the ground. He likes to decorate them with different colors.

The official Guinness World Records Instagram account highlighted her achievement, stating: “The combined length of Diana’s fingernails is longer than a standard yellow school bus! Diana has been growing her nails for over 25 years!”

Her title sparked a lot of curiosity online, with many users wondering about the practicalities of her day-to-day life. One person asked: “How to delete? Genuine curiosity”.

Another asked: “Delete was my first thought but did it ever work? Like, there’s no way you can do anything legitimate.”

A third added his voice to the conversation, saying: “How does she do anything, like anything, including fit in a car? Or clothes”.

Fortunately, Diana was happy to clear up any confusion. In an interview, she explained: “Well, you know, when I go to the bathroom, it’s going to be just like anybody else going to the bathroom, except I’m working with my nails probably in a different way, they would work with theirs.
