Nicki Minaj sends message to Birmingham fans after Amsterdam arrest

Nicki Minaj sent a message to her fans after her arrest in Amsterdam. The star is set to perform at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena tonight (Sunday, May 26).

It comes just 24 hours after her Manchester gig at the newly opened Co-op Live arena was canceled as a result of her being in the Netherlands. Thousands of fans were left disappointed when the show had to be postponed at the last minute as she was held up at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on suspicion of possessing soft drugs.

The 41-year-old rapper later apologized and sent a message to her fans. Tickets are still available for tonight’s show via Ticketmaster here

She posted the following message to fans on X at 1.17am this morning (May 26): “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you and everything related to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination. . Barbz, I’m at the Stock Exchange hotel in Manchester.

“I arrived just over an hour ago. After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still hadn’t taken off for another 20 minutes once I boarded. The flight took 50 minutes. 50 minutes. That’s why they had to sing and dance because they knew I’d still find a way to sing, even if it came down to my last 90 minutes in the building. at 11:30 p.m.

“The building was willing to go past 11 p.m. We were so grateful to them for that. So they succeeded in their plan to not let me go on stage tonight. I was able to get to the root of it all by recording and posting it all in real time, I have so much video evidence.

“I’ll have the lawyers and GOD take her out of here. Please, please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies. They sure knew exactly how to hurt me today, but this too shall pass. They did this everywhere. I’ve tried so hard not to talk about it because you guys deserve to get the good stuff I hate to involve you in anything that isn’t just for entertainment purposes.

“We’ll have another date for tonight’s show soon and I’ll probably be able to share it tmrw. An option for July and an option for June are currently being discussed. I will find a way not only to set the date with the show. but i will create an extra bonus for everyone who had a tkt for this show ok barbz i love you.”
