New ‘Anybody But You’ Trailer Sees Sparks Fly As Sydney Sweeney And Glen Powell Fake Romance – Update

UPDATED, 7:50 a.m.: Columbia Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for his novel Anyone But Youwith Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick), which hits theaters on December 22.

The pair star respectively as Bea and Ben, who look like the perfect couple. But after a stunning first date, something happens that turns their hot attraction on ice – until they find themselves unexpectedly dressed for a wedding in Australia. So they do what any two grown adults would do: they pretend to be a couple.

PREVIOUSLY, OCTOBER 19: If you have seen Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie, you’ve probably already seen a glimpse Anyone but You, but if you haven’t, here’s your chance: Sony Pictures released the trailer that got some great exposure at Swift’s screenings.

With a classic rom-com setup — they hate each other, they love each other — Anyone but you stars EuphoriaSydney Sweeney is Bea and Hit ManGlen Powell is Ben, two very good-looking people who pretend to be a couple while attending a destination wedding in Australia. Why? Take a look at the teaser, set to WizTheMc’s new track “Death of Me,” above.

“There’s no way we can convince anyone that we like each other,” Powell’s Ben insists.

“Trust me,” Bea replies to Sweeney. “We’re at a wedding, a million miles away from home. Who knows what could happen?”

If you’re thinking that one of the things that might happen is love, or maybe a punch in the groin, well, yes.

Directed by Will Gluck (Easy) from a story by Ilana Wolpert and screenplay by Wolpert and Gluck, Anyone but you looks to be the standout comedy option for the Christmas holidays. The trailer debuted earlier this month during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon.
