Thousands of people attend the Bristol music festival

Bristol’s biggest music festival is back, bringing a splash of color to the city’s music scene.

Thousands of music fans flocked to Ashton Court on Saturday to hear music from headliners Camelphat and Rudimental and enjoy the sound of Groove Armada and Felix Joy.

Delays were expected on the roads around Ashton Court on Sunday as revelers returned to the site, festival leaders said.

Organizers have once again mounted the Love Bus, a shuttle bus that picks up music fans from selected sites around the city.

Last year, over 55,000 festival-goers attended the music-filled weekend.

For the 2024 event, organizers have introduced stricter rules on illegal drugs to reduce harm to anyone who goes.

There are educational stalls and festival goers were given information to read before attending.

There are home tests on seized drugs and messages are sent out via social media about anything “of concern”.

On Sunday, fans can look forward to hearing The Streets and a show of ‘cinematic audiovisual excellence’ from Sub Focus presents Evolve, just a few of these shows to take place in the UK.
