Liverpool FC fans say ‘it’s too much’ as camera zooms in on Klopp’s wife

Emotional Liverpool FC fans said it was “too much” as cameras caught Jurgen Klopp’s wife towards the end of his final game as Reds boss.

Klopp took to Anfield for the last time as LFC manager on Sunday 19 May as LFC faced Wolves in the final game of the 24/25 season. He and his wife Ulla have lived in Merseyside since Klopp signed as Liverpool boss in 2015.

Ulla was at the game today and was seen proudly holding a scarf and singing You’ll Never Walk Alone before the 4pm kick-off.

Klopp later became emotional and as the cameras panned to Ulla, it became apparent that she did too. Klopp’s wife wiped tears from her eyes as the final minutes of the match began.

Reacting to Ulla’s display of emotion on X, former Twitter, Karla said: ‘ULLA CRYING THIS IS THE END OF ME’ and @AnfieldEdition said: ‘Klopp’s wife Ulla in tears. This is too much.” Caitlin said: “I’m mourning Klopp and then seeing Ulla dry her eyes just killed me.”

@MaliBissouma said: “Ulla being emotional makes me very emotional.” Scott said: “DANKE JURGEN. You will be remembered forever. The legend doesn’t even do it justice. Ulla in tears. I can’t handle it. Wow.”
