Manchester United have offered Adrien Rabiot a transfer ‘opportunity’ as the forward battle unfolds

Manchester United look set to have a busy summer transfer window ahead of next season.

United are still basking in their FA Cup final win over Manchester City at the weekend. Victory at Wembley Stadium also secured the Reds a place in the Europa League for next season.

Erik ten Hag’s future as United manager has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks. Despite the uncertainty over who will be in the dugout at Old Trafford in August, United are still being linked with a number of potential new signings.

According to Italian news outlet Tutto Juve, Adrien Rabiot remains a possible target for the Reds ahead of the summer transfer window. Rabiot’s contract with Juventus is set to expire at the end of next month, when he would be available on a free transfer.

The report claims Rabiot would be an “opportunity” for United to add depth to their midfield options without having to use their transfer budget. Newcastle are also said to be showing an interest in signing Rabiot this summer and will give United competition for the player’s signature.

Elsewhere, United are reportedly one of several clubs interested in signing FC Copenhagen striker Amin Chiakha. According to Tipsbladet, both United and City have been monitoring the striker with a view to making a move this summer.

Chiakha is yet to make a first team appearance for Copenhagen but has been a star for the club’s youth ranks. The striker has scored 24 goals in 37 appearances for Copenhagen’s under-19s this season, including eight in nine UEFA Youth League games.

The report claims that Juventus and Ajax have previously expressed interest in signing Chiakha. Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Eredivisie sides are also said to be interested in a deal to sign Chiakha.
