He died a week after the Trelyon Avenue incident

A man has died in hospital a week after being involved in a crash in St Ives.

Police were called to Trelyon Avenue on Tuesday, April 30, to a crash involving a car and two pedestrians.

A man and a woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries and police now say the man died in hospital on Tuesday, April 7.

The woman remains in hospital with life-changing injuries.

The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man, was arrested at the time of the collision on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention. He is currently on police bail.
