The Penzanze fire crew smash the car window to free the trapped dogs

A fire crew came to the rescue after two dogs were locked in a car. A crew from Penzance was called to the incident in St Buryan, near Penzance.

A call came in after two dogs were accidentally locked inside a car. With no way to get them out, firefighters had to break a window.




The crew used “speed breakers” and “small tools” to break the rear window of the vehicle. The two dogs, which were both pointers, were then released.

The call to Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service came in at 8.21am on Monday (May 27). A spokesman said: “A crew from Penzance attended a call to two dogs who had been accidentally locked in a car. Firefighters used breakout equipment and small tools to break the rear window of the vehicle to free the two Pointers.”
