“I flaunt my natural body in a bikini – no one is made to be perfect”

Many of us are guilty of comparing ourselves to people we see online.

So if your feed is full of glamorous influencers who have been airbrushed to within an inch of their lives, it can be quite depressing.

It’s not all bad news though – because there are positive Instagrammers fighting back. One of these is the lovely Ariella Nyssa, who wants to show fans that no one is designed to be “perfect”.

The self-love guru, who boasts over 728,000 followers, recently posted some candid swimwear photos on social media. Although she was nervous to share them, she wanted to show the reality behind the posed images.

The 27-year-old, from Australia, wrote: ‘Some ‘in between’ shots… the kind that have become my favorites recently. Photos that go against EVERYTHING society has tried to brainwash me into. And, in my opinion, the most powerful tool in my journey of self-love.

“All the words that I know people will say, because they’re brainwashed too…they don’t seem to have the same effect on me anymore. Our bodies are not meant to be perfect, they are meant to be lived.

“And these photos, to me… are a snapshot in time of me actually living and breathing in this beautiful body I call mine. Not pictured, not perfect, but still me. So I hope these help you as much as they helped me. . Because we are all imperfectly perfected.”

Since sharing the post, more than 11,000 people have liked it and left positive comments.
