It’s back to Monday again, which means Super League clubs are nervously awaiting the disciplinary verdicts from Super League’s RFL Match Review Panel.

Last week, there were only three charges despite 17 incidents being investigated, all three of which were directed at Wigan Warriors players.

Kaide Ellis and Sam Walters received one-game bans for Grade B Dangerous Contact and Head Contact respectively, while Luke Thompson was just handed a £250 fine.

However, later in the week Hull FC player Herman Ese-ese was finally charged after an incident in his side’s loss to London Broncos at Wimbledon earlier this month.

He is facing a huge ban after receiving an F-grade charge for “verbal abuse” due to evidence presented by a Broncos player.

He will face an independent tribunal tomorrow night and, if found guilty, faces a minimum six-match ban.

This weekend, we saw six sin-bins in the six games.

Warrington representative Lachlan Fitzgibbon was booked for “forced and dangerous” contact in his side’s 16-8 win over Catalans Dragons, the type of incident the RFL has sought to punish heavily this season.

Huddersfield Giants’ Oliver Russell was sent off for a high tackle, contributing to his side’s fifth straight loss, this time to Leigh Leopards.

Leigh’s Frankie Halton was also sin-binned for a late tackle in his side’s win over the Giants, while both Brad Dwyer (tripping) and Ed Chamberlain (persistent foul play) had also a ten minute layup in that game. .

Other incidents that caught the panel’s attention included Mikey Lewis attacking Hakim Miloudi as the pair clashed on Sunday.

A further five grade B charges were handed down, but only resulted in the players being fined £250.

They go to Leigh Leopards’ Frankie Halton and Brad Dwyer, Castleford Tigers’ George Griffin, London Broncos’ Will Lovell and Luis Roberts.
