Sky Glass is now £140 cheaper to buy as the supplier slashed its contract ahead of this summer’s Euro 2024

In time for the launch of Euro 2024 this summer, Sky has dropped a mega offer on its Sky Glass smart TV. The supplier has knocked £140 off its luxury 4K QLED model contract.

Known for its smart features, Sky’s Glass TV comes with built-in Stream software, usually an add-on gadget that can convert any standard TV into a smart device via an HDMI port. Featuring an integrated Dolby Atmos soundbar, the cable-free Sky Glass is bundled with Sky TV channels, Netflix and stunning 4K QLED Ultra HD technology.

With a hefty discount of £140, customers can pick up the largest 65in model for £21 off a month instead of the usual £24. Although they’re also offering a price drop on the smaller screens, with the 55-inch model down to £16 a month and the 43-inch now £11 a month.

Doing the sums reveals that this new deal will cost viewers less than £1 a day for TV, as YorkshireLive pointed out. Our resident streaming expert Jake Hackney said: “With the new deal, a 65″ Sky Glass TV is affordable for £21 a month, the equivalent of 70p a day for 30 days.”

That means going for the smaller models will set you back 53p a day for the 55in version and 36p a day for the 43in model – prices that may tempt buyers to upgrade. The Sky Glass deal is a steal, with an interest-free deal that won’t make you pay more than necessary.

The 48-month term allows members to spread the cost of the device. The TV comes in a variety of colors including anthracite black, ocean blue, racing green, dark pink and ceramic white, complete with a matching colored remote control so you can choose what suits your decor best.

Sky Glass also has improved voice control options and reduced latency on Sky Sports Main Event. Plus, it can be voice-activated by simply saying “Hello Sky” to the TV or remote control. For those looking to explore other options before committing to Sky’s offering, Virgin Media might be worth a look.
