Andrew Tracy joined Real screen as associate editor in 2021 after 17 years as editor-in-chief of the award-winning international film magazine The cinematographic field. From 2010 to 2020, he also held the position of Senior Editor at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he oversaw the flagship publication for Cinematheque’s year-round programming and edited his first original monograph in a decade, Steve Gravestock’s A History of Icelandic Film. He was a screenwriter and consultant on the first season of the TV series Vice The Movie Vice Guideand his writing and reporting have been featured in such outlets as The cinematographic field, Reverse kick, Sight and sound, Filmmaker, Movie commentary, The MUBI notebook, POVand fitting.
